FR Recipes is a module that allows you to record recipes. The colors in the front end are based on a combination of a warm cream color and the colors in the footer of the active website. Using the FR Childpages module, you can display the recipes clearly arranged by category for website visitors. The back end is divided into the following sections:

  • General
  • Image
  • Nutrition Information
  • Equipment
  • Ingredients
  • Preparation

Recipe Title: Preferably use a short, clear title. You can set the page title and menu title to match the recipe title.

Prepping time: Enter the average prep time

Cooking time: Specify the average cooking time, excluding prep time

Rest time: This refers to whether the prepared food needs to rest (in the refrigerator, etc.)

Yield: Specify the correct number of yields. The website visitor can enter the desired number of yields, which will adjust the list of required ingredients

Turn off the card: When enabled, a colored card is displayed behind the recipe. This makes it easier on the readability.

Short summary: Type a short summary of the recipe. You can have this summary included in the page description, which will be displayed in search results. Avoid using text that is too long.

Select an image from your website's Media folder, or upload an image directly from your computer.

Keep in mind the size of the image you're uploading: unnecessarily large images slow down your website, which isn't convenient for your visitors.
