On a multilingual website, language-specific pages are nested under the language page. In this example, the Dutch-language pages are nested under the main page NL.

The Home, About Me, Portfolio, etc., pages are displayed in the menu bar because they are at the top level.

The Portfolio and Exhibitions pages have a +, which means they have subpages:

You can choose whether or not to display the underlying “child pages” in the menu.

Each page structure contains three main sections:

- Page settings: covers page and menu names, whether or not to display them in menus, and the link to the same page in another language.

- page sections: refers to the various sections or components that you can place on a page

- Edit page: Here you can edit the content for each section.

Language Settings

Your website is set to Dutch by default. This means you can create versions of your Dutch pages in other languages, with the translated page linking back to the Dutch-language page. You can have the English-language page “About me” link to the Dutch-language page “Over mij.” That way, visitors remain on the same page (in a different language) when they select a different display language.

Example of page nesting with language links:

For the EN pages, link them to the corresponding NL page using the Page code field. You must do this for each page. That way, the same page will remain visible when the visitor switches languages.

The page title is also displayed in the browser address bar; visitors can see it. The menu title is, of course, for the menu.

Parent (or “Parent”): the page under which this page is categorized.

The metadata is for search engines.

Visibility: choose either public or hidden. Photo albums are an example of hidden pages: they can be accessed from the Portfolio page, but do not need to be displayed as menu items.

You normally never edit Target or Template.

Language: Select the language for this page.

Page code: links to the same page in another language. For example, link About me to Over mij

Page Sections

Type: Depending on which additional modules are installed, you can choose from the following types of sections, for example:

• Code v3.1.0 – you don't normally use this
• Form Modul v3.5.1 – form module. Tip: use FR Forms instead
• FR Columns – for column layouts, such as the Portfolio page
• FR Forms – for (contact) forms
• FR Gallery – image gallery for online photo albums
• News v4.1.3 – news module
• Wrapper v3.2.2 – not normally used
• WYSIWYG v3.1.2 – often used for text and/or images; see further explanation

'‘'Block:’ For each section, you can set its position on the page.

The display on the page looks like this:

And “‘'no show’'” means, of course, that it won’t be displayed.

If left is filled, main is filled but right is not, then the space from right is added to the space from main. If right is filled but left is not, the space from left is added to main

Start Date: You usually leave this blank. But you can also use it to specify when a section should start appearing.

End Date: You usually leave this blank. But you can also use it to specify until when a section may be displayed.

Of course, you can also combine them: for example, Section A is visible until July 1, 2026, and Section B is visible starting July 1, 2026.

Actions: Use the triangles to move sections up or down. The order in which the sections appear on a page is determined by their position (line 1 first, then line 2, then line 3).

You can delete sections using the trash can icon.

You can use multiple sections on a single page. For example, in WYSIWYG mode, Full Top layout, you can add a title above the photo gallery, which you create in the next section using FR Gallery:
